Vaccine tourism is here. And rich Indians are giving it a shot. The Times of India has reported that a Delhi-based travel agency is a 24-day package tour to Russia, which will fly people to Moscow for two shots of Sputnik V and some sight-seeing. The cost: ₹1.3 lakh per person.
Russia is currently one of the few countries that allow Indians to fly in for a vaccine vacation with just a negative Covid report.
The TOI report stated that the first batch of vaccine vacationers, mainly doctors from Gurugram left on May 15 and the second is set to take off on May 29.
The package includes air fare, 2 meals a day and few days of sight-seeing, the report added.
