Twitter recently announced that Blue subscribers can upload two-hour videos to the platform.

However, the new feature has opened up an opportunity for users to distribute pirated movies on the platform.

A user uploaded a 93-minute feature film Shrek the Third, which was promptly removed by Twitter.

The social media company warned the account owner, but let them back online after reviewing its copyright policy.

Twitter’s legal and content moderation staff have been cut since Elon Musk took over as CEO, which may impact the company’s ability to respond to pirated content.
