It’s like deja vu all over again! New rumours suggest that Nord could be spun off as an independent brand by OnePlus.
Spinning off sub-brands into independent brands appears to be a BBK Electronics hallmark - Realme branched off from Oppo, while iQoo spun off from Vivo.
Anyway, if Nord becomes independent, it is said to remain below OnePlus, possibly competing with Poco and Samsung’s M-series.
Nord is also speculated to broaden its accessory range and launch smartwatches, smart bands and more Bluetooth earbuds.
