Realme is launching a new mid-range smartphone, the Realme 12+ 5G, in India. This model, adding a "+" to signify enhanced value in the mid-range segment, follows the successful Realme 12 Pro Series 5G.

It promises superior photography performance, partly thanks to a collaboration with Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda, who helped create three image enhancement filters inspired by his films. The Realme 12+ 5G also features luxury watch-inspired design elements, making it a uniquely stylish and innovative choice in the market.

Realme 12 Plus 5G India Launch

The Realme 12+ 5G initially made its debut in China on November 21, 2023, with its India launch scheduled approximately two months later. The gap between the launches has led to speculation about market adjustments and the need for regulatory approvals specific to India.

Realme 12+ Specifications (Expected)

The Realme 12+ 5G is predicted to share many core features with its Chinese counterpart. Key specifications likely to be retained include a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, a robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and a 5000mAh battery supporting fast charging.

While the Chinese version features a triple rear camera setup (50MP + 64MP + 8MP), modifications for the Indian market may occur, reflecting local consumer preferences. Software customization and specific pre-loaded apps tailored for Indian users are also expected.

Realme 12 Plus Price (Expected)

While the Chinese model's price suggests a ballpark figure for the Indian market, industry observers suggest a potential introductory price range of Rs. 19,999 to Rs. 24,999 for India. This adjustment reflects Realme's strategy to competitively price the Realme 12+ 5G in the Indian market, considering previous pricing trends.
