Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, has announced that it is winding down support for NFTs on its platforms.
A company executive said in a tweet that Meta would now focus on other ways to support creators, influencers, businesses and people.
Though no explanation was given for the decision, it follows the shut down of Meta's crypto-wallet Novi last year which was also expected to get NFT support eventually.
