Infinix Note 50x 5G: First Look at Features and Pricing

The Infinix Note 50x 5G is here, and it aims to offer a compelling package in the lower mid-range market.

Price and Availability

The Infinix Note 50x 5G will be available in two memory configurations. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage model is priced at ₹11,499. The 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant costs ₹12,999.

Early buyers can benefit from a ₹1,000 bank discount on ICICI Bank cards. This brings the prices down to ₹10,499 and ₹11,999 respectively.

The phone will be available on Flipkart from 3rd April.

Design and Display

The Note 50x 5G comes in three colours: Sea Breeze Green (vegan leather), Enchanted Purple, and Titanium Grey.

It features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Peak brightness reaches 672 nits.

Performance and Features

Infinix claims the Note 50x 5G is the first phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. It remains to be seen how this "Ultimate" version performs.

The phone offers 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

It packs a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging. A 10W reverse wired charging feature is also included.

The Note 50x 5G has a 50MP main camera and a depth sensor. An 8MP front camera is available for selfies.

It runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15. Infinix promises two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.

Connectivity and Durability

The device supports 9 5G bands. It has an IR blaster but lacks NFC and wireless charging.

A side-mounted fingerprint scanner provides security. The phone also has an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. It holds MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

Initial Thoughts

The Infinix Note 50x 5G appears to offer a solid set of features at a competitive price point. The new processor and promise of software updates are noteworthy. We look forward to a closer look at its performance.
