WPL 2023: Delhi Capitals beat UP Warriorz by 42 runs to register 2nd win

The Delhi Capitals made it 2 wins in 2 and joined Mumbai Indians at the top as they beat the UP Warriorz by 42 runs in WPL at the D.Y Patil Stadium on Tuesday.

Put to bat first, Meg Lanning gave Delhi a strong start with her 70 run-knock which was followed by an unbeaten 42 off just 20 balls by Jess Jonassen which helped them post a massive 211 on the board.

Chasing which, the UP Warriorz found themselves struggling at 31/3 within 5 overs.
Tahlia McGrath's 90* went in vain as Jess Jonassen's 3/25 restricted the Warriorz at 169 at the end of their 20 overs.
