T20 world cup 2022 points table: Pakistan joined India in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup as the upset of the tournament saw South Africa losing their final game against the Netherlands. India secured the top spot in the Group 2 points table of the T20 World Cup 2022 after defeating Zimbabwe by 71 runs in their final group game of the Super 12.

Team India ended their Super 12 group stage with yet another win against Zimbabwe as the Men in Blue finished on top of Group 2 with 8 points in the end. They will lock horns with England in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup in Adelaide on November 10.

In what was the upset of the tournament, the Proteas suffered a shock defeat against the Netherlands and as a result were knocked out of the tournament after Pakistan won their last game and took the 2nd spot from them.

Netherlands spoiled Zimbabwe's chances as the Dutch handed them a 5-wicket loss in their 4th Super 12 game. They finished their World Cup campaign with a 71-run defeat against India on November 6.

Bangladesh finished their T20 World Cup campaign with a defeat against Pakistan. The Bangla Tigers finished 5th in the group in the end.

Where do the Netherlands stand?

Despite being mathematically out of the World Cup earlier, the Dutch team came up with the upset of the tournament during their last game as they beat South Africa by 13 runs and eventually knocked the Proteas out of the tournament as well. They jumped up to 4th in the table.
