Commonwealth Games medallist Divya Kakran had come out in support of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the WFI president who has been accused of sexual harassment by ace Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat. However, the 24-year-old wrestler who posted a video in support of the President has now deleted her post.

Quashing the sexual harassment accusations, Kakran in the video said, 'Since 2013, when I was 14 I have been going to the camp and attend it even now. Till this day he has not done anything wrong to me or any other woman'

Calling out Phogat and other wrestlers who protested against the WFI management near Delhi's Jantar Mantar, Kakran had asked the wrestlers in the video 'Why did the wrestlers praise Sharan when he was first appointed and why are they opposing him now?'

She further praised the federation President and highlighted that 'Brij Bhushan is promoting the sport by making use of his top office'
