Wrestlers protest: Police case filed against protesting wrestlers

Delhi police filed a case against the protesting wrestlers and protest organisers on Sunday evening as they tried to march towards the new Parliament building.

The FIR was filed in connection with the scuffle that broke out at Jantar Mantar. Top Indian wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, and Bajrang Punia were detained but were later released by the police.

They have been accused of rioting, unlawful assembly, and causing obstruction in the duty of a public servant, among other things.
