Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios avoided criminal conviction after admitting that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend on January 10, 2021.

The Canberra magistrate dismissed the assault charges against the 2022 Wimbledon finalist, calling it a single of stupidity.

27-year-old Kyrgios appeared in the court with a pair of crutches and a brace on his knee, after suffering a gruesome injury that sidelined him at the 2023 Australian Open.
