The all-rounder had landed in India after the completion of Australia's tour of Pakistan. He joined the team after 3 days of quarantine and before Lucknow's fourth match against Rajasthan, Stoinis participated in his first net session with his new team on Saturday evening. Stoinis who looks in form during his first practice session said that he was thrilled to join the team. He also praised KL Rahul with whom he has played before in Punjab Kings. He said that the batter has not only grown his skill with the bat but has also grown as a leader.

Stoinis was one of the 3 draft picks of Lucknow along with KL Rahul and Ravi Bishnoi. Lucknow's squad is finally complete and they will now look to register their fourth successive win against a star-studded Rajasthan Royals team.
