Cummins who was bought by KKR for a whopping Rs 7.25 crore in the IPL 2022 Mega Auctions did not have a great outing this season. In the 5 matches that he played, Cummins picked only 7 wickets at an economy of 10.68. This includes his match-winning figures of 3/22 against Mumbai Indians.

Kolkata Knight Riders are currently sitting at the 7th spot in the IPL points table with 5 wins in 12 matches. The Shreyas Iyer-led side needs to win their remaining 2 matches to remain in the IPL playoff contention.
