Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored his 30th ODI hundred, his first in the format after 3 years. His previous ODI ton had come back in January 2020, against Australia in Bengaluru.
Rohit finished with an 85-ball 101 in the final ODI against New Zealand in Indore. His superb strokeplay took the wind out of the Kiwi bowling attack as India put together a fantastic 212-run opening stand.
The 35-year-old hit 9 fours and six maximums to pile misery on the Black Caps bowlers. It was his second fifty-plus score of the series, after his 51 in the previous match at Raipur.
