Suryakumar Yadav's blistering hundred combined with a brilliant bowling performance helped India win the series-deciding T20I against Sri Lanka by 91 runs.
Opting to bat first, India lost opener Ishan Kishan in the first over itself. With Shubman Gill failing to get into his groove, Rahul Tripathi went hammers & tongs in the powerplay.

Following Tripathi’s departure, Sri Lanka were hit by a Suryastorm. His 360-degree strokeplay bamboozled the visitors. His sensational hundred along with Axar Patel's unbeaten 21-run cameo propelled the Men In Blue to 229-5.
Chasing the mammoth total, Sri Lanka were off to a solid start, scoring 44 runs inside 5 overs. But wickets at regular intervals from there on saw the Islanders lose the plot. At the end, Sri Lanka succumbed to the soaring required rate and were bundled out for 137, giving India a 2-1 series win.
