India stormed into the semi-finals of the Women's Asia Cup 2022 as they thumped Thailand by 9 wickets on Monday. The victory also marked skipper Smriti Mandhana's 100th T20 International game of her career.

The Women in Blue only had the target of 38 runs as the Indian bowling contingent ran riot against Thailand and bowled them out on just 37 runs. Sneh Rana was the stand out performer of the match as the 28-year-old took 3 wickets in her 4 overs at the expense of just 9 runs in the first innings.

Shafali Verma lost her wicket early on in the small run-chase after which Sabbhineni Meghana and Pooja Vastrakar finished the game in just 6 overs to maintain their top spot in the standings with 10 points.

India will play its semi-finals on October 13 and another win will take them to the Asia Cup final.
