India's former pacer Zaheer Khan cautioned the Rohit Sharma-led side ahead of ODI World Cup later in the year, stating the team is in the same boat as in the 2019 ODI World Cup.

Leading to the mega event four years ago, India were struggling to find a permanent batter at the number 4 position.

In a conversation with Cricbuzz, Zaheer said the management is in the same boat as in 2019, they have to figure out the number 4 option again.

He also stated that the management has to look beyond Shreyas Iyer, India's designated number 4, given he has been nursing his injuries and is expected to be on a long break.

In the absence of Shreyas, Suryakumar Yadav failed miserably as he got dismissed with three consecutive golden ducks against Australia.
