Former Indian captain Virat Kohli continues to be the talk of the town, and former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi is the latest to comment on Kohli's form of late.

During a Twitter interaction, a fan questioned Afridi about Kohli's future, to which Afridi replied bluntly, 'It's in his own hands'. Another fan highlighted that Kohli had not scored a ton for over 1000 days, to which the ex-Pakistan captain said ,'only tough times can unveil the potential of big players'

Virat Kohli last scored his international century in 2019. Since then, the ex-India captain's form has only tailed off. This year, Kohli, who was once touted as the run machine has struggled to breach the 50-run mark as well.

Kohli who had been rested for the West Indies series will make a return for Asia Cup. India will begin their 2022 Asia Cup campaign on 28th August against Pakistan in UAE.
