Pakistan's former captain Shahid Afridi has made a shocking claim after PCB announced the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup.

While talking to a TV channel, Afridi said that the Pakistani lynchpin Shaheen Afridi went to England on his own and is paying for his own rehabilitation. He further added that the PCB hasn't done anything.

The former Pakistani captain even claimed that he was the one who arranged a doctor for Shaheen in England.

However, during the announcement of the Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup on Thursday, chief selector Mohammad Wasim said in a news briefing that the board is assessing Shaheen's injury and they are hopeful that he will be fit for the marquee event in Australia.

Pakistan have included Shaheen in their 15-member squad for T20 World Cup but the spearhead failed to make a cut to the squad for the 7 T20Is against England given he is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
