Rohit to Bumrah: Virat Kohli's current teammates react to their leader's exit from Test captaincy

As Virat Kohli's reign as Indian Test captain came to an end, his current teammates reacted to their leader's exit through social media posts.

Current India white-ball captain Rohit Sharma seemed to be 'shocked' by Kohli's decision.

Ishant Sharma thanked his Delhi teammate for the wonderful memories while India wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant said that Kohli has been his inspiration for him.

Ajinkya Rahane, who has been Kohli's deputy for most of his tenure, also thanked him for 'lots of special memories.'

KL Rahul wrote in a tweet that Kohli was a leader in every sense.

While R Ashwin wrote that Kohli's legacy as a captain will be remembered for the benchmarks he has set.
