Ashish Nehra had a piece of advice for Rishabh Pant, who is going through a rough patch, not only as a batter but as captain as well. During a chat with Cricbuzz, the former India fast bowler said that he wants Pant to focus more on his batting than his batting position.
'With Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli set to return in the future, there will always be pressure on Pant,' added Nehra. The 43 year old also believes that the southpaw from Delhi needs only one good knock to get his mindset changed and It's important he doesn’t take too much pressure upon himself.
Pant didn't have the best of IPL seasons this time around where he scored 340 runs in 14 games, with not even a single score of over 50 against his name. Moreover, the Delhi Capitals failed to make it to the playoffs under his leadership.
