Shahid Afridi feels that Pakistan doesn't have a match-winning finisher like Hardik Pandya. During a show on Samaa TV, the former Pakistan captain said that they require a player like Hardik, who is reliable, comes down the order, helps in bowling and takes responsibility to finish the match down the order.
When asked if Pakistan had a finisher like Hardik, Afridi said "We don't have such a finisher." Hardik proved to be the hero for India in the Asia Cup 2022 Group A match against Pakistan and won that game with a six in the last over.
Though Pakistan managed to edge India out in the next encounter, Hardik has continued with his destructive form and also smashed a 30-ball-71 not out in the 1st T20 vs Australia.
