'...like MS Dhoni': Daren Sammy isn't worried about Indian cricket, hails Rohit's captaincy

Hailing Rohit Sharma, former Windies skipper Daren Sammy feels that Indian cricket is in good hands under his leadership. Fit-again Sharma will resume his full-time captaincy duties from the West Indies tour of India which is set to begin from 6th February in Ahmedabad.

Praising the 34-year-old for his exceptional performance as an IPL skipper, Sammy grouped him with the likes of MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir. Rohit Sharma has won a record number of 5 IPL trophies as MI skipper.

'Rohit is a motivational leader, he is among the captains who have won like MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir', said the 2 time T20 World Cup-winning skipper. He further claimed that he isn't worried about Indian cricket as Rohit will be able to get performance from his Teammates, he will get results and win trophies.

Sammy also lauded Virat's captaincy and went on to say that his resignation from the post will not affect the team's performance. 

West Indies is set to play a 3-match ODI series and 3 matches T20 series in India.
