KL Rahul donates Rs 31 lakh for 11-year-old cricketer's treatment

In a heart-warming gesture, India batter KL Rahul came to the rescue of 11-year-old budding cricketer Varad Nalawade, who needed an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant.

Rahul donated Rs 31 lakh for the treatment of a rare blood disorder.

While speaking about the donation, Rahul said, "I am glad that the surgery was successful and he is doing well."

The Karnataka batter further added that he hopes Varad gets back on his feet at the earliest and achieve his dreams.

Rahul's team got in touch with Nalawade's family after they started a fundraising campaign for the treatment in December.
