IND VS SA: Virat Kohli becomes first Indian batter to hit 11,000 runs in T20s

Ace Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who has once again found form with his willow, on Sunday etched his name in the history books with yet another record. The star batter became the first Indian to complete 11,000 runs in the T20 format.

The ex-India skipper achieved the milestone during India's 16-run win against South Africa in the 2nd T20I in Guwahati.

Kohli who amassed 11,000 T20 runs in 354 matches also became the 4th batter to achieve the feat after Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle and Shoaib Malik.

After playing a terrific 28-ball-49 in the match, the 33-year-old now has 11,030 runs in the shortest format of the game.
