Rishabh Pant is all set to cross a massive milestone in the Test series vs South Africa. The youngster is just 3 dismissals away from becoming the fastest Indian wicket-keeper to register 100 dismissals.

Pant currently has 97 dismissals to his name from 25 Tests and it's a perfect opportunity for him to surpass his idol and former India captain MS Dhoni. The record, as of now, is held by MSD, who achieved it in 36 Tests. Wriddhimian Saha is also on that list, along with Kiran More, Nayan Mongia and Syed Kirmani. If Pant crosses the milestone, he will become the sixth Indian keeper to join the elite list.

After missing the 2-match Test series vs New Zealand, Pant will once again don the wicketkeeping gloves in the 3 Test vs South Africa.
