The Indian team and skipper Virat Kohli lost their cool in the final hour of Day 3 after the on-field lbw call against Dean Elgar was overturned by DRS.

The decision left Kohli and his teammates fuming as some snide remarks were made against umpiring, technology, and broadcasters.

"Focus on your team as well as they shine the ball and not just the opposition trying to catch people all the time," Kohli said into the stump mic while KL Rahul said, “Whole country is playing against us”.

Ashwin too joined in and showed his frustration, saying, "You should find better ways to win Supersport."

At the end of the day's play, India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey tried to play down the comments and said that he would leave that for the match referee to decide and wanted to just move on with the game.

After India lost the Test, Virat Kohli refused to comment on his stump-mic outburst. He said that people on the outside don't know the exact details of what goes on on the field.
