IND vs SA 3rd Test: Vihari may make way for Virat Kohli, Ishant could replace Siraj

After a morale-crushing loss in Johannesburg, Team India will be aiming to come out all guns blazing against South Africa in the final game of the series in Cape Town which starts on Tuesday. With the series tied at 1-1 after the loss, a win in the final Test could give India a historic Test series win, their first on South African soil.

With many concerned voices echoing the sentiment that Jasprit Bumrah looked out of sorts in Johannesburg, the speedster returns to Cape Town where he began his Test career 3 years ago. His return to form is crucial for Team India's success as side is likely to miss Mohammad Siraj due to a hamstring injury. 

Siraj who pulled his hamstring in the 2nd Test is going to be replaced with the experienced campaigner Ishant Sharma. Ishant last played a Test match in November last year against New Zealand at home. 

Meanwhile, skipper Virat Kohli is aiming to return for the final Test after missing the 2nd game due spasms in his upper back. His return to the Playing XI is crucial for Team India as a possible first win at the Newlands in 6 attempts could well lead the team to their first Test series triumph in the Rainbow Nation.
