Indian batter Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the 3-match ODI series against New Zealand due to a back injury.
Rajat Patidar, the uncapped batter from Madhya Pradesh, has been named his replacement. India are already without KL Rahul, who is reportedly set to get married later this month.
Iyer, meanwhile, has been asked to report to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
