Team India and the Australian cricket team are grinding it out in Nagpur and are getting set for the 1st Test starting February 9.

According to a report in the Times of India, curators across the 4 venues have been asked to prepare pitches that ensure "good Test cricket" over the full five days.

However, an area of concern for the Indian team management is how to fill in Rishabh Pant's shoes. If the match goes on for 5 days, the team will need a solid batting performance and the selectors have turned towards Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan to make up for Pant's absence.
