A historic 5th ICC Under-19 World Cup title brought an early Diwali for the junior Indian cricket team as BCCI announced a hefty cash reward for all the players and support staff.
As India defeated England in the final, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced a reward of Rs 40 lakhs for each player of the team.In addition to this, the support staff were also rewarded with Rs 25 lakhs each for the brilliant show.

Team India remained unbeaten at the world cup and chased down a tricky 180 in the final against England to assert their dominance in the Under-19 circuit with a record-extending 5th world title.
