ICC Under-19 World Cup: Aradhya Yadav replaces injured Vasu Vats in Indian squad

Batter Aradhya Yadav will replace injured all-rounder Vasu Vats in the under-19 Indian squad which is currently competing in the ongoing World Cup, confirmed the ICC. 

Informing about Vats' hamstring injury, ICC in its statement released on Saturday said that he will not be able to take any further part in the event. The event technical committee of the ICC has approved the replacement, the release said. 

Meanwhile, skipper Yash Dhull and 4 other players who had earlier contracted the virus have also recovered and are fit to take part in the following matches of the ongoing tournament.  

The young Men in Blue have already qualified for the Super League semifinals.
