Former Netherlands captain Ryan Ten Doeschate is set to return to his former IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, as their fielding coach.

The 42-year-old was part of KKR from 2011 to 2014, where he helped the team win two titles in 2012 and 2014.

The development comes after the previous fielding coach, James Foster, was given the KKR's assistant coach job.

KKR CEO Venky Mysore praised Ten Doeschate for his contribution to their title-winning triumphs. He also affirmed that the new appointments would strengthen the coaching department with Chandrakant Pandit as KKR's current head coach after Brendon McCullum left the job.
