A 21-year-old Virat Kohli fan in Tamil Nadu's Poyyur village was arrested for allegedly killing his friend, a Rohit Sharma fan following an ugly drunken fight.
Keelapalur Police who have registered a case informed that S Dharmaraj who is in judicial custody killed P Vignesh, 24. As per the initial investigation, Police said that Dharmaraj and Vignesh who had consumed liquor were embroiled in a brawl over IPL teams, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
'During the debate Vignesh, the MI fan body shamed Dharmaraj, who stammered and compared his difficulty of speaking to RCB, which infuriated Dharmaraj. He attacked Vignesh with a bottle and later hit him with a cricket bat on the head', the Police said.
