Led by Captain Yash Dhull, the team remained unbeaten in the tournament and lifted the trophy by beating England in the final by 4 wickets. The team was also plagued by a Covid-19 outbreak in the side which saw as many as 4-5 players testing positive.

Despite all the hiccups and problems, the team worked incredibly hard to put up a superb show at the World Cup and blew away all the teams with their efforts.
