CWG 2022: India’s top medal hopes on Day 6

After a bittersweet day 5 at Commonwealth Games 2022, Indian athletes will have more opportunities to consolidate their medal tally. 

After losing his men's singles semifinals game against New Zealand’s Paul Coll, Saurav Ghosal will now fight for a bronze medal. His match starts at 9:30 PM IST

India has already fetched 7 medals in weightlifting and on Wednesday the lifters will have 3 more shots at finishing at the podium. Purnima Pandey will compete in the Women’s 87+kg category finals at 6:30 PM.

While Lovepreet Singh will take the arena in the Men's 109kg category Finals at 2 PM, Gurdeep Singh will fight for a medal in the 109+kg category Finals. His match starts at 11 PM IST.
