BCCI sacks Chetan Sharma-led senior selection committee, invite applications

The BCCI on Friday dropped a bombshell as they sacked the entire 5-member senior men's national selection committee, including chief selector Chetan Sharma.

Following Team India's humiliating end to T20 World Cup 2022 campaign, the Indian board had hinted at an overhaul of the T20 set-up and the rejig started with the selection committee.

The BCCI also invited fresh applications for the vacant 5 positions. which the eligible candidates need to submit before 6 PM on November 28.

The Indian team last won an ICC trophy way back in 2013, when the MS Dhoni-led unit clinched the Champions Trophy in England.
