Pen Studios has confirmed that highly-anticipated films 'RRR', 'Attack' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' will release exclusively in theatres.
Issuing a clarification on their Twitter handle, the production house said they would like to clarify that Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, and Attack will release in cinemas, and all speculative reports doing rounds about these films releasing on OTT platforms before cinemas are not true.
Pen Studios concluded the statement by saying that the magnum opus films have been made for the big-screen experience and would only be releasing in theatres.
While cinema halls have opened up post the second wave of Covid-19, many people are still reluctant to visit theatres fearing exposure to the virus. With cinemas operating with 50% capacity in Maharashtra, the country's biggest film market, several filmmakers are opting for an OTT release to cut losses.
