The PS5 Digital Edition is now listed on the official Sony Center website, ShopAtSC.com, for ₹39,990. It will be available for pre-order starting May 17 at 12 noon.
This is the first time the cheaper PS5 variant will be available in India, over six months after global launch.
An earlier report claims that the disc-less PlayStation 5 will be exclusive to the Sony website, while other retailer and e-commerce websites will have the disc-based PS5 for ₹49,990.
