Process to find Team India's new coach to start before World T20: report

Ravi Shastri had made it clear that he would be stepping down as Team India's head coach after the T20 World Cup, and according to reports, the process to find India's new coach will begin before the marquee event.

A top board official told the Times of India that the BCCI is looking at October 14 to come out with the advertisement and is keen to bring in the new coach for the home series vs New Zealand starting November 17. Apart from Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar's contracts also end in November and the BCCI wants the new coaching staff to get used to the dressing room before Team India leaves for South Africa in the second week of December.
