Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chaired a key meeting to discuss the Ayodhya development project. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with two deputy CMs and other top officials were also present at the virtual meet.

During the virtual meet, UP CM Yogi Adityanath presented a future vision of Ayodhya's development to PM Modi, say reports. This includes modernisation of roads, infrastructure, railway stations, airport and other several pending projects.
From developing a green township to a new airport of international standards, the Ayodhya Development Authority is looking to turn the city into a religious tourism destination.

The vision document proposes to construct four main Lord Ram gates in the city, which will be inspired by the design of Ram Temple. A Ramayana Spiritual Forest will be constructed in 2300 acres, which will also house Ramayana Spiritual Theme Park.

Earlier in February, CM Adityanath had said that the state government's proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya has been approved by the Centre, and about Rs 1,000 crore has been allocated to the district administration by the state government.
