Former Mumbai Police chief Param Bir Singh has moved the Supreme Court seeking an investigation into the allegations made by him against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Singh, who was shunted out over the probe in Anitila bomb scare case, has also requested for the collection of CCTV footage of Deshmukh's residence in Mumbai to corroborate with the charges he has levelled.

After he assumed office as Director General Homeguard in Mumbai, Singh has sought a stay on his transfer. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi will be appearing for Singh once the matter is listed for hearing.
