Past rumours had indicated that OnePlus will be adding a new moniker to its next OnePlus 9 series--the OnePlus 9 Lite. The series will reportedly offer three models, the regular OnePlus 9, a 9 Pro and a 9 Lite. Recently, a tipster, with Twitter handle TechDroider, has leaked that the new variant will launch in India soon and is expected to run on the Snapdragon 865 chipset, as opposed to the latest Snapdragon 888 that's expected to power the 9 and 9 Pro. Reports say the OnePlus 9 Lite could share a lot of features with the OnePlus 8T that was launched in October starting at ₹42,999.
