Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang said the company will spend at least $100 million on a supercomputer in the United Kingdom.

Speaking at The Six Five Summit, Huang said the $100 million commitment is a starting point for the Cambridge-1 supercomputer.

Nvidia is currently in the process of acquiring UK-based chip technology firm Arm, whose chip designs are used in most smartphones and the Apple M1.

The deal is under scrutiny from UK, US, and European authorities.
