Basking in the success of 'Lupin', Netflix has signed a multi-year feature film deal, with French star Omar Sy.
Reports say, under the partnership will see Sy’s Paris and L.A.-based production company will develop original films for Netflix, with Sy starring in and acting as executive producer on the projects.
Sy, who was was a creative producer on some episodes of 'Lupin', says, he is onboard with Netflix’s collaboration with artists and their passion to bring unique and diverse stories to fans.

Omar Sy was noticed in hit comedy “The Intouchables” a decade ago, which marked his first leading role after many years in acting. But it was only with 'Lupin' that the French actor shot to international fame.
On the Netflix show 'Lupin', Sy plays Assane Diop, a character inspired by the French story of gentleman thief Arsène Lupin. Created by George Kay, 'Lupin' ranks as one of Netflix’s most popular series.
