Neeraj Chopra reveals his wish to train with coach Bartonietz for next Olympics

Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra on Friday said that he wants to continue his training with current coach Klaus Bartonietz until the 20224 Olympics. The Javelin thrower who made history at Tokyo 2020 by winning India's first athletics gold called Bartonietz the best for him.

The 23-year-old Haryana-based Olympics winner who was speaking at the ‘India Today Conclave’, said that Bartonietz's methods of training suit him as he makes even the most intense sessions entertaining.

Chopra who is under Bartonietz's guidance since 2019 was earlier training under another former German record holder Uwe Hohn who was released after he had multiple differences with the Athletic Federation.
