Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has requested the Centre to provide the national capital with 83 lakh doses every month to vaccinate all adults within the next three months.
The CM in a letter to the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan urged the government to direct Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech to increase their monthly supplies to Delhi to 60 lakh doses per month during this time period.
Kejriwal said that Delhi was currently vaccinating 1 lakh people a day, which is to be increased to 3 lakhs.
Amid warning of a third wave, he also advocated for equal pricing of vaccine.
