Mexico church leader charged of rape in USA

The leader of a fundamentalist Christian organisation in Mexico has been charged with rape and human trafficking in the United States. Naasón Joaquín García who heads the La Luz Del Mundo church in Mexico was detained at the Los Angeles airport. Known as the 'Apostle' among his followers, García along with three female defendants are facing 26 charges of human trafficking, production of child sex abuse images and rape of a minor. The Church has rejected the allegation and are confident Garcia will be proven innocent.
