Massive Bike Rally Demanding ST Status

The All Tai Ahom Students Union (ATASU) had organised a massive bike rally to reiterate their demand for ST status for the Tai Ahom people and six other communities of Assam. The bike rally was organised by the Dibrugarh unit of ATASU. The rally was from Moran to Dibrugarh. The rally saw participation from several organisations like the Moran Mahkuma Samiti, Moran Anchalik Samiti, Khowang Anchalik Samiti. Slogans were raised warning the BJP government in case the ST status was not granted to the six communities of Assam which include Tai Ahom, Moran, Matak, Koch Rajbonshi, Chutia and Tea Tribes.
