National Award-winning Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a criminal defamation complaint against actor Kamaal Rashid Khan alias KRK for posting an alleged derogatory tweet against him.
The tweet in question was posted by Khan on July 26 by KRK and Bajpayee's lawyers claim it defamed the 52-year-old The Family Man actor and tarnished his image among his fans. Manoj Bajpayee personally appeared before the court in Indore to record his statement in the matter.
Bajpayee's lawyer said that the actor filed the criminal complaint in the court of judicial magistrate first class against Khan under IPC section 500 punishment for defamation & urged the court to register the case in the matter.
This is not the first case of defamation against KRK, Salman Khan had filed a similar case against the actor for his alleged derogatory tweet after the release Radhe.
